Eclipse is an occasion when all or part of the moon or the sun cannot be seen for a time. The phenomenon occurs because of the movement of the earth and the moon and the position of the sun, earth and moon.
The sun, earth and moon lie in a straight line and this causes the occurrence of an eclipse.
